Algonquin park is the best place to try and see a moose in Ontario. In the fall they have their rut (mating) season and this becomes the most opportune time to photograph one. Teddy will guide you on an adventure through the park, checking out locations where moose tend to make appearances at this time. It is never a guarantee that you will get to photograph a moose, however you will at least experience the locations and photograph the wildlife and landscapes that are present in the area such as birds and other mammals like black bear or foxes.
This workshop will include a 4 hour outing with Teddy in Algonquin park visiting some of the more notable moose sighting spots in the park during sunrise or sunset. The workshop attendee may be required to hike with their equipment for a number of kms to access the site, please be prepared for such a hike with proper footwear and clothing.
If you are staying in the park for several days you may book more than one outing with Teddy in hopes of increasing your odds of getting a good shot, morning or evening sessions at your choice.
