Late Summer Loons

In late summer Loons begin to congregate on the lakes of Algonquin park as they prepare to migrate for the winter. This is a great time to photograph them as the cooling temperatures from the night create foggy, moody looking mornings. Paddle out on the lake with Teddy in a kayak and learn how to see these scenes for the artistic masterpieces that they are and how to capture them equally so.

Fall Algonquin

Fall Algonquin

Algonquin park is a magical place in the fall. Moose are in their rut (mating) season and this becomes the most opportune time to see one. Foxes, wolves and migratory bird species make appearances if you know where to look and luck serves you. Teddy will guide you on an adventure through the park, checking out locations where moose and other wildlife tend to make appearances at this time. It is never a guarantee that you will get to photograph a wild animal, however you will at least experience the locations and photograph the wildlife and landscapes that are present in the area. Algonquin park is also a wonderful place to take astral photos of the nights sky with no light pollution.

Winter Waterfowl

Join Teddy for his winter water fowl photography workshop held in Toronto, Ontario on the icy edge of Lake Ontario. Teddy will guide you through an enlightening experience working with a range of different waterfowl species from the shores of Toronto’s more reputable wildlife protected parks. These areas become a hot bed for waterfowl flocks during the winter months, however it does require some expertise in the field in order to get close looks. Learn these techniques with Teddy so that you may apply them to your own practices and go home with once in a lifetime shots!
