Winter Waterfowl

Join Teddy for his winter waterfowl photography workshop held in Toronto, Ontario on the icy edge of Lake Ontario. Teddy will guide you through an enlightening experience working with a range of different waterfowl species from the shores of Toronto’s more reputable wildlife protected parks. These areas become a hot bed for waterfowl flocks during the winter months, however it does require some expertise in the field in order to get close looks at some species. Learn these techniques with Teddy so that you may apply them to your own practices and go home with once in a lifetime shots!

The duration of the workshop will be approximately 4 hours starting one hour before sunrise and will be at a designated Toronto park that Teddy will decide on leading up to the meeting day. The workshops will be kept small in number of clients so as to keep the interactions with the wildlife intimate, no more than 2 or 3 people will be present including Teddy. Clients are responsible for their own preparedness, winter clothing, protective equipment for cameras, snacks, warm beverages etc.

Teddy is not responsible for lost or damaged equipment. We will be working extremely close to the water if not sometimes with our tripod in the water. It is important that you are comfortable with this risk. Teddy will educate you on best practices with your gear, but he assumes absolutely no responsibilities for accidents that may occur when in the field.
